We are one of the UK's leading Finger & Kick Plate Manufacturers. We pride ourselves in our ability to respond to our customers demands and deadlines, whilst maintaining the level of quality and services that is required in this competitive environment.
The name Weldit was derived from the original business of engine welding in the 1950's. The business diversified to become a fabricator of non-ferrous metals and is now based in a 20,000 sq ft factory in Luton, Bedfordshire. We are fully equipped with the latest CNC CAD/CAM controlled technology and we also boast that we are unique in the fact that we cut and fold up to 3 metres in length!
Weldit specialises in non-ferrous materials. Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Copper and High Impact Plastics. We are able to undertake most forms of fabrication in house including, cutting, drilling, punching and finishing. Facilities include powder coating, guillotine, polishing, satinising, CNC design and manufacture, riveting and other hand tool operations.
All of our couriered deliveries have corner protection and then banded to protect the goods. Supplied with screws. If you have any requirements for security screws we can assist you with this.
In order to provide you with a high spec finished product we are willing to accept designs from either a rough drawing to design development utilising CAD/CAM technology.
At Weldit customer care is very important to us. We offer a first class service which includes reliable and informed product knowledge and next day delivery. Whatever your project, in whatever quantity Weldit is the company to call to discuss your requirements.
Two years ago we switched from two different suppliers of metal sheet materials to Weldit. We made this switch after being continuously let down on delivery times by our previous suppliers and we started by placing a couple of urgent orders to see how they would perform. Weldit delivered a substantial amount of Kick Plates within a couple of days direct to the site, clearly labelled and on their own transport, which is just what we were after. This service has continued to date and all the staff at Weldit are more than helpful and pleasant to deal with, especially when it comes to emergency orders when they seem to bend over backwards to help. We are proud to be associated with Weldit who form a valuable part of our supply chain within the architectural ironmongery and construction industry.
